About Us

We are Tim and Michelle, a South-Florida based couple who founded this website to document and share our travel experiences with the world in hopes of helping people make better decisions as they plan and book their travels.

We aim to provide you unbiased travel experiences, trip reports, restaurant and bar reviews, and tips to help you make better decisions when you book trips and excursions.  We also have many guest authors helping us create what we hope becomes a top resources for travelers.

Both of us have careers that allow us to work remote, allowing us to make frequent updates to the website documenting and reviewing our experiences in real time!  While we call Fort Lauderdale home, (as you’ll see a lot of our favorites highlighted in our “Best of All World” section which points out restaurants, dive bars, and hotels wherever we roam,) we’re often on the road and this blog helps share those experiences with the masses.

Every year we attempt to crush our bucket list and see new places while once in a while going back to the places that we enjoy most.

Each trip we take is outlined with what we enjoyed, what was annoying to us, and of course, when applicable, we make lists of our top places to eat, drink, and relax!

Tim Schmidt

Tim SchmidtBorn in South Dakota, raised in Minnesota, but a certified “Floridian” after being in South Florida for 22 years, Tim is an Entrepreneur who has spent most of his career building companies online and consulting for companies looking to grow their online presence and become more profitable.  A published author and frequent writer, he has been quoted in USA Today, NASDAQ.com, Ocean Drive, TechTimes, and many other publications.

His first experiences traveling were ski trips to Colorado, vacations to Florida beaches, and of course enjoying the cozy cabins “up north” in the land of 10,000 lakes, Minnesota.

He has lived in Nicaragua as an exchange student, and Costa Rica as a resident for nine years, learning Spanish along the way and paving desire to learn more about Latin America.  Thanks to his close proximity to Latin America and the Caribbean, Tim is always quick to recommend an island or country for all budgets and tastes.

A certified “foodie,” his favorite thing to do when he travels is compare and contrast the local cuisine and make “best of” lists for bars and restaurants.

Feel free to email Tim for any travel plans at Tim @ AllWorld.com.  He’s an expert resource when it comes to Costa Rica travel or anything regarding South Florida.  Don’t be shy, he enjoys it!

Norm Schriever

Norm SchrieverNorm was a driving force in helping guide Tim write his book, Amplifying Average, an Amazon Best Seller.  Norm has authored many books himself and has lived all over the world!

He is an author, pro blogger, cultural mad scientist, and enemy of the comfort zone. His latest book, “South of Normal,” is a gonzo blast of laughter and adventure about a year living in the tropical paradise of Tamarindo, Costa Rica that has earned him a place on the Amazon.com best seller list and won a silver medal with the Nonfiction Book Awards. His first book, “Pushups in the Prayer Room,” is a wild, irreverent account of a year spent backpacking around the world.

Norm grew up in Connecticut and graduated from the University of Connecticut, where he was never accused of over-studying, and went on to live in North Carolina, Colorado and most recently in Northern California.

Dissatisfied with a conventional existence, Norm sold or donated all of his possessions and moved down to Costa Rica in 2011. In the sleepy surf town of Tamarindo he pursued his passion of writing, armed with his secret weapons: fresh ocean air and Baileys in his morning coffee. He then migrated just a chicken bus ride north to San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua, where he settled into a local barrio and wrote “South of Normal” with his puppy, Panda, curled up at his feet. He is currently living in exotic southeast Asia, where he survives super typhoons, writes his heart out and explores other cultures daily.

He sees his words as a way to illuminate the commonalities of human existence, and thereby hopes to leave this planet a little better than how he found it.

Peter Carlson

PetePete left a comment on our website many moons ago and had a lot of good feedback about travel in general.  This led to an email exchange and he let us know he was looking to help us out with first hand takes on his travels across the world.  He was a natural choice for us as is articles range from engaging, extensive, and sometimes downright wild!

He’s our go-to guy for hostel reviews and has a pulse on living life as a digital nomad.  Originally from San Diego, he currently calls Asia home but often travels to see friends and family in Europe.  He is never one to shy away from adventure, and his personality shines through his musings on our blog.
