I lived in Las Vegas for several years, and during my time on the Strip, I literally ate at almost every restaurant in the city. I explored all of the famous places with the names of famous chefs, and I stepped into hidden holes in the wall that most people miss. I know what people want when they are in Vegas, and I’ve chosen my favorite places. Here are some of the best restaurants on the Las Vegas Strip.
Key Overviews: Best Restaurants in Las Vegas

- Visitors can still experience luxury dining at high-end venues like Mizumi and Bardot Brasserie.
- The city’s food scene blends global flavors — Thai, Japanese, Italian, French, and fusion — reflecting Vegas’s multicultural energy.
- Whether it’s handcrafted cocktails, intimate bun tasting menus, or legendary buffets, there’s something for every budget and palate.
- Vegas dining isn’t just about indulgence — it’s about experience, atmosphere, and authenticity.
Bouchon – French Bistro Dining at the Venetian
If you are dreaming of days in Paris and French flavors in the heart of Vegas, look no further than Bouchon, located in the Venetian. Imagine French bistro vibes featuring a menu of classic French dishes like perfectly cooked and seasoned frites (with steak, of course!), French onion soup, fresh seafood, and exceptional pastries.
Breakfast and brunch here are equally impressive, and you must get one of their signature buttery croissants or another sweet treat from the menu like Creme Brulee. Them service here is attentive, but this isn’t an extremely high end place. It’s perfect for a casual meal or a small celebration that is remarkably French. Price is on the higher side, but it’s Vegas, Baby!

Mon Ami Gabi – Another Bite of Paris on Las Vegas Boulevard
Located at Paris Las Vegas, Mon Ami Gabi offers another version of a French bistro experience with one of the most iconic views of the Strip. My best advice is to sit on the patio so you can overlook the fountains of the Bellagio and make your meal extra special.
The Las Vegas Review Journal describes the famed steak frites as “…marinated in thyme, garlic, salt and cracked black pepper, then it hits the grill quickly on both sides. A tangle of frites crowns the steak.” Other favorites here are the escargot and the classic Trout Almondine.
This is a relaxed and casual option with no real dress code other than not wearing things like a swimsuit and flip flops, but the food is certainly high-quality and one of my favorites in Vegas.

Peppermill Restaurant and Fireside Lounge – Classic, Retro Charm
One of the things I love so much about Peppermill is that it’s open 24/7 Thursday to Sunday, and you can always get a filling meal, whether you crave a hearty breakfast meal like a huge omelet or you’ve had a bit too much fun and need a bloody mary to refresh, they have it here at Peppermill.
The other thing I really like about Peppermill is the Fireside Lounge, which is a colorful, fun atmosphere and you will see both locals and visitors here. Peppermill is casual and memorable, and you will want to go back time after time for the great food and iconic Vegas experience.

Grand Lux Cafe – Las Vegas – Best Breakfast Around
The Grand Lux Cafe at The Venetian is one of my favorite breakfast options in Vegas, and not only is the food good, the dessert is a huge highlight. In fact, Food Network notes at Grand Lux Cafe has the “Best beignets outside of New Orleans.”
Another thing I really like about the Grand Lux Cafe is the global cuisine options here. From amazing Italian options like Pasta Carbonara and Garlic Shrimp Pasta to Asian-inspired dishes like Spicy Ginger Beef and Thai Fried Chicken. Of course, you can also get American cuisine here, too, like the Chicken and Waffles and Wood Grilled BBQ Burger.
Portions here are quite generous, the flavors are extremely satisfying, and as the sister restaurant to The Cheesecake Factory, you have your choice of several delicious cheesecakes for dessert.

The Capital Grille – Wine and Wagyu
If you’ve been waiting for my choice for a Vegas steakhouse, one of them is The Capital Grille. This is a fine dining option in Vegas, and it is an amazing choice for those who want a meal that means something. Known for dry-aged steaks, fresh seafood, and extensive wine list, The Capital Grille is elegant and classic.
If you are going to eat here, my suggestions are the filet mignon, porterhouse or other prime cuts. I also suggest the lamb chops or seared tuna. Sides are also amazing here, and the lobster mac and cheese and au gratin potatoes are favorites of mine for lunch and dinner. You will pay fine steakhouse prices here, but it’s all very worth it here are Capital Grille.

Din Tai Fung – Las Vegas – Famed Buns and Dumplings
If you are looking for high – quality Asian food right on the Strip, you need to check out Din Tai Fung. Famous for its incredibly creative Taiwanese cuisine, you have your choice of full entrees and an a la carte menu.
Famous for their xiao long bao (soup dumplings), each bite is perfectly crafted with delicate skins and flavorful broth. In addition to the dumplings, you have to try the buns, the noodles, and the fried rice, which is some of the best I have ever had.
I am always impressed by the service here, and it’s a great stop for families, couples, or even those who are visiting the city on their own. Din Tai Fung is great for a quick meal or a nice dinner and a solid choice when you are craving some Asian flavors.

BrewDog – Las Vegas – Walk Ins Welcome and Amazing Happy Hour
When in Vegas, sometimes you just need to chill out with a cold beer, and one of my favorite places to get a beer is BrewDog. This is a nationally known brewery, and it always has a rotating selection of unique beers from hoppy IPAs to rich stouts.
They offer happy hour from noon to 6pm every day, and you can get a great deal on beers and other drinks. They also have delicious pub grub like loaded fries, sandwiches, and all-you-can eat wings. When I need a break from the sites, the sounds, and the casino, I love coming here to relax and unwind with a beer and a game, which are always available on the many TVs throughout this bar.

Mother Wolf – Roman Favorites from an Inviting Upscale Restaurant
Located in the Venetian, Mother Wolf offers modern Italian favorites, specifically from Rome. With a focus on fresh pasta, bold flavors, and impressive options, this place is warm, inviting, and upscale without being pretentious.
Some of the things I think you should consider here are the wood-fired pizzas, Cacio e Pepe, and Branzino Alla Brace. The staff is always attentive here, and you can get amazing cuisine that is authentically Italian. Prices here are stiff, with most people spending over $100 a person, but it’s well worth it when celebrating in Vegas.

The Crack Shack – Fast, Casual, Delicious
If you see a huge fiberglass chicken when walking on the street near ARIA, Park MGM, or even around New York, New York, make sure you stop in…you have found The Crack Shack.
This is a great place for fried chicken and to grab a quick bite when walking around. It’s a casual dining experience with some of the best food you can find. From fried chicken and amazing sandwiches to bowls, breakfast, and cookies, you will find something for everyone here at The Crack Shack.
One thing I always tell people — this is a big deal — you don’t have to just eat chicken here, either. The salads are fabulous, and some are vegetarian, so it has that going for it, too!

L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon – Very Upscale, French Experience
At the MGM Grand, you will find L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, a restaurant focused on the finest French cuisine. Every dish here is beautifully presented with an emphasis on flavor, presentation, and elegance. One of the things I love here is the unique counter-style seating that’s available, which allows you to interact with the chefs.
There is a business casual dress code here, and children under the age of 6 will not be seated, so keep that in mind when you make a reservation. Only the finest ingredients are used at this Michelin starred restaurant, and it’s a perfect choice for special occasions or to celebrate special events. If you are looking for a refined and classy evening dinner in Las Vegas, I highly recommend L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon.

LPM Restaurant & Bar – Experience the French Riviera
At The Cosmopolitan, you will find another French restaurant, but in this case, they are focused on the food from the French Riviera and Northern Italy. LPM Restaurant & Bar has a menu that features fresh and flavorful dishes including seafood, pasta, and seasonal small plates. I’ve had the beef carpaccio here as well as yellow tail carpaccio, as well as the lobster risotto and the slow-cooked duck.
The attentive service, stylish décor, and well-curated wine list make it an excellent choice for romantic dinners or upscale gatherings. LPM balances sophistication with approachability, offering consistently delicious meals without feeling overly formal. For visitors and locals alike, LPM Restaurant & Bar provides a memorable dining experience with both exceptional food and ambiance.

Scarpetta – Indulgent Italian Fare
Another restaurant at The Cosmopolitan is Scarpetta, which offers contemporary Italian cuisine with a modern, sophisticated twist. You must try the hand-cut pastas, the fresh seafood dishes, and amazing desserts.
One of my favorites here is the Paccheri Pasta, which is a truffle pasta meant to be shared. It’s not an overall fancy place, but with these tasty dishes, you will think it’s one of the fanciest on the main Strip.
This is a stylish option, and you can immediately see how the restaurant has really dedicated itself to its craft of creating amazing Italian food. You will certainly want to take in every minute you are here at Scarpetta, and it will certainly be a dining experience that you won’t forget anytime soon.

Sinatra – Fine Italian Restaurant Honoring Ol’ Blue Eyes, Himself
If you are a fan of Frank Sinatra, you must consider dining at Sinatra, which is a Rat Pack-inspired restaurant at the Wynn. With huge portions of pasta, prime steaks, seafood, veal, and more, you can pair anything here with the extensive wine list.
The menu here is certain heavy on foods that are highly Italian American. Price-wise, it’s up there, so keep that in mind as you make your reservation. There are amazing experiences to be had here, whether you are interested in fine dining or a lively ambiance.

Pronto by Giada – Fast, Casual, Delicous
Chef Giada De Laurentiis is known for her Italian twist on all of her dishes, and you can get the best of that, in a casual and quick way, right here in Las Vegas.
Food is served all day here from breakfast to a late dinner, and you can get everything from Giada’s famous lemon ricotta pancakes to a grilled cheese sandwich….errr…panini…that is really delicious. It’s what you would expect from a fast and casual place in Vegas in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city. It’s also a great place to grab a coffee!

The Golden Tiki – Make a Fun, Tropical Escape
I’ve been saving this quirky and fun gem, and it really is one of my favorite places here in Las Vegas. The Golden Tiki is dark, vibrant, and it has these tiki cocktails that you have to see to believe! There is often live music, and as you look around the restaurant you will see everything from animatronics to themed rooms.
The food and ambiance here is casual, though not quite a dive bar, and it’s certainly an option for those who are looking for something different. Reservations aren’t required, but recommended on Friday and Saturday, and even into Sunday nights. From tots, fries, and shrimp cocktail for starters to ribs, wings, and of course the famous Pupu Platter, this is definitely one to check out.

Wing Lei – First Chinese Restaurant to Earn a Michelin Star
If Chinese food is on your mind, you will love this location: Wing Lei. Yes, it was the first Chinese place in the history of the US to earn a Michelin star, and one meal here will certainly show you why.
Wing Lei offers luxurious dishes such as Peking duck, dim sum, and seafood delicacies. The elegant, gold-accented interior and attentive service create a refined dining experience ideal for special occasions or business dinners.
Every dish is meticulously prepared, showcasing high-quality ingredients and authentic flavors. Wing Lei combines sophistication, flavor, and impeccable presentation in one memorable experience for Chinese. Prices are high, as you would expect, but well worth it for a special occasion.

Mizumi – Upscale Japanese Restaurant
Mizumi is one of the best places in Vegas to get sushi in my opinion, and every experience here is unique and unforgettable. From the freshest fish and seafood to the Japanese whisky and sake, you will find amazing tastes and treats from Japan right here in Las Vegas.
Also located at the Wynn Las Vegas, Mizumi has impressive service that can also be interactive, as there is a tableside cooking experience available, too, with one of the chefs. For Japanese, prices are, indeed, pricey here, but unlike your local sushi shop, you won’t get better service anywhere else in the world for this type of cuisine. Mizumi delivers a perfect blend of flavor, presentation, and atmosphere, and it’s truly a pleasure to eat here.

Secret Pizza – Not a Secret Any Longer
Another option at The Cosmopolitan is Secret Pizza. Here, you will find some of the best New York-style pizza I have every had. Truly a hidden gem, Secret Pizza is even located behind an unmarked door and is a very casual, no-frills spot to grab a slice and get on with your day…or night.
These pizzas have a crazy amount of cheese and meat, but every bite is delicious and so filling. If you have friends and family with you, you can order an entire pie, or you can get salads or pizza by the slice. Really, it feels like the pizza options are endless here. There are a lot of pizza places in this town, and sometimes it seems like there is one around every corner…but only one of them has made it on my list: Secret Pizza.
