There is something about a family-owned business- especially a restaurant or cafe- that feels more inviting. That is certainly the case with Caffe Gourmet- a cozy coffee and food spot located in Glades Circle in Weston. It’s one of my regular spots for a quick, delicious, and healthy breakfast.
What’s On the Menu?
I feel hungry just thinking about the stunning Caffe Gourmet menu. In fact, I might have to book a table when I’m done. They have just about everything I could hope for from my go-to afternoon spot- including coffee, sandwiches, salads, wine, pizza, and a prosciutto platter to die for.
The breakfast menu alone is worth visiting for. Whether you are in the mood for a simple omelet or a full gourmet breakfast with eggs, prosciutto, and much more- you will find something. My favorite is the Tortilla Espanola- well worth a try.
You also get a choice of many kinds of coffee, juices, sandwiches, soups, salads, and main lunch plates- with plenty of options for vegans and vegetarians. If you are looking for something to share, I highly recommend trying one of the many delicious platters. You can add extra sides from the menu as well if you want to pad it out.
Why Visit Caffe Gourmet?
Honestly, I would say it is worth going here for the arepas, sandwiches, & breakfast event. Live music is another big tick for me, and there are a few other things that make it stand out. The cute caffe has coffee to die for, the food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was welcoming, homely, and familiar.
Supporting Local
I also love that they use almost all organic and farm-raised ingredients- delighting customers with delicious flavors and hearty, healthy food. Supporting this small business means supporting a range of small businesses, which is always a plus.
Great Service
The people working there are very pleasant- with a great attitude and customer service that makes you feel like you have been invited in. Even if you are not in the mood for going out, you can order the specialty sandwiches and other dishes to take away- or have them delivered to your door.

Caffe Gourmet is always a great stop for a friendly catchup and a cup of coffee bitter (or something stronger). It is open seven days a week. Opening hours are from 7.30 AM until 9.00 PM from Tuesday to Saturday, from 7.30 AM until 5.00 PM on Monday, and 8.00 AM until 4.00 PM on Sunday.
Great food every time, organic, fresh ingredients, and a quirky, cozy, modern coffee shop with artistic flare- the list of reasons to love this place just keeps going.
