What is the Best Car to Rent in Costa Rica?
I recommend a 4×4. You will no doubt encounter some terrain that will not be like what you are used to back home. Expect bumpy roads, gravel roads at times, and a lot of potholes.
You can rent jeeps, SUV’s of all sizes, and of course, sedans, but my suggestion is to get a 4 x 4 and I’ve been traversing Costa Rica for 23 years.
