You can have lots of fun in Dr. Phillips, Orlando. Apart from all the things we did there, what we loved the most about this neighborhood was its restaurant scene.
Are you looking for authentic Thai cuisine or a fine dining restaurant to have dinner with your friends? You will find it all there.
We’ve traveled to South America and several states in the U.S. That has allowed us to try all kinds of dishes. We routinely write restaurant reviews on this site and consider ourselves foodies! To help you get the most out of your visit to this area, we listed and reviewed 10 of the best options in Dr. Phillips’ dining scene. This neighborhood has unique diversity within its restaurant row.
The 10 Best Restaurants in Dr. Phillips
It’s time to explore your taste buds. The list below has the best restaurants in Dr. Phillips. It’s in the order presented in TripAdvisor, so before you blast me, this is what the people have rated! I’ve added my personal review links to the ones I’ve had, and will continue to update this page as we continue to visit Orlando.
This includes dinner options, family restaurants with live music, and more. Let’s get into the 10 top rated restaurants in Dr. Phillips:
1. The Melting Pot
The first restaurant we will review on this page is The Melting Pot. We recommend this one if you are looking for a classy place to eat with a cozy and intimate atmosphere. It’s excellent for special celebrations and romantic dates.
We hope you like cheese because this restaurant is all about fondue. Our favorite dish is the four-course dinner for two. If you order it, you must pick a cheese fondue, two salads, the entrees and cooking styles you want, and a melted chocolate top.
Drinks are one of this restaurant’s strengths. We had a great experience in Mexico, so it was great to see a place with a good tequila bar in Dr. Phillips.

We tried the filet mignon, the Florida black grouper, and a dark chocolate mousse. The food and the service were impeccable at all times. This restaurant offers a wide wine selection with a reasonable price range.

5. Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar
Although it’s not related to the food the restaurant offers, one of the things that makes Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse shine is its location. You can have an amazing day sightseeing and then have a delicious steak for dinner.
When we visited this restaurant, the steak was outstanding. One of it’s other locations in Fort Lauderdale is among the best steakhouses in the area and is firmly in our regular rotation.

6. Ocean Prime
We love fancy restaurants, and that’s the reason we liked Ocean Prime. Check out our full review here. This is an excellent option for people looking for the true taste of seafood. It’s kind of expensive, though.
Live entertainment was thrilling. You can book private event rooms for celebrations, too. Apart from its immersive ambiance, we enjoyed the restaurant’s steaks, lobster, and delicious cocktails.

You can go to Seito Sushi for all kinds of events. This is a great place for every occasion. Apart from the great food we had there, we have to mention its full bar.
We could try all the drinks we could think of, and they all came for a decent price. When we went to Seito Sushi, we tried the “Ultimate Spicy Tuna” and “Beauty and the Beast” rolls.

10. Seasons 52
Seasons 52 is the last restaurant on this list. When we went there, workers always focused on creating a personalized and luxurious dining experience for each customer. That included complimentary valet parking and private event tables. We stayed in the main dining room.
Though this is a classic fresh grill restaurant with a wine bar, it has a seasonal menu. We don’t know what will be available next season, but what we tried was delicious. If you have the chance, ask for the scallops, key lime pie, and salmon salad.
