Named one of the ten “Breakout Brands” by Nation’s Restaurant News, Firebirds Wood Fired Grill specializes in American cuisine but is known for two things — a signature scratch kitchen and delicious dishes prepared over an authentic wood-fired grill.
This restaurant opened at the turn of the millennium in Charlotte, NC, but has added other locations over the years. Now, it’s considered a neighborhood favorite where the “usual” becomes special.
The Firebirds Wood Fired Grill Menu
Open for lunch and dinner, Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is the perfect place to visit when I’m craving fresh seafood, hand-cut steaks, and specialty-crafted cocktails.
Also, it offers signature specialty dishes that always make my taste buds tingle, including scratch-made soups, fire-grilled burgers, fresh entree salads, and popular desserts.

Perfect for Sharing
When I want something for sharing, there are two menu items I can’t overlook: Bacon Deviled Eggs and Seared Ahi Tuna. Both options are delicious!
Sometimes, I order the Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls, which are topped with Thai chili and hot mustard sauce for an explosion of exotic flavors.
Other Menu Essentials
Firebirds Wood Fired Grill also offers soups made daily from fresh ingredients. The Chicken Tortilla Soup is hands down my favorite.
When I’m looking for fresher and lighter dishes, its signature salads are ideal. The menu has several offerings, but the Colorado Chicken Salad has earned a special place in my heart thanks to the chef-recommended raspberry chipotle vinaigrette.
There are also three classic options – mixed greens, BLT, and Caesar salad. However, we can add more flavor and textures with the following:

- Wood-grilled shrimp
- Seared ahi tuna
- Wood-grilled salmon
- Wood-grilled tenderloin
The Signature Hand-cut Steaks
As mentioned, Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is known for its hand-cut steaks, which may include a bacon-wrapped filet with bleu cheese sauce and port mushrooms (Bleu Cheese Filet), wood-grilled center cut sirloin topped with roasted garlic thyme butter (Roasted Garlic Sirloin), and a traditional ribeye (Aged Ribeye).

Plus, there are always many freshly prepared and locally sourced complements I can choose from, such as fresh vegetables, tater tots, cider slaw, parmesan mashed potatoes, loaded ember corn, and more! They make a good meal even better.
A Great Ambience Complemented with Top-notch Service
Firebirds Wood Fired Grill has a rustic look with elegant touches, which automatically makes me think of a steakhouse with the best food quality. Also, the atmosphere is so inviting and comforting. Every time I visit this restaurant, I want to stay there for hours.
The FIREBAR has the same style but is vibrant and suggests I’ll spend a great time there from the very beginning.
A first-class experience complements this great ambience. Firebirds Wood Fired Grill will always offer top-notch service, exceeding my expectations.
Would I Recommend Firebirds Wood Fired Grill?
I’d definitely recommend Firebirds Wood Fired Grill to everyone! This restaurant offers upscale dining at great prices. When I want to save even more, I just visit it for Happy Hour Monday to Friday from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m.
I’ve read many Firebirds Wood Fired Grill reviews online with some complaints about specific meals, so I think people with food allergies should be cautious. However, this restaurant is one of the best places to eat in Pembroke Pines.
