As the party city of the world, it’s no surprise that Las Vegas has a thriving gay and lesbian party scene. There’s fabulous bars and some amazing clubs. The only problem is the lack of a true gayborhood that other gay capitals like San Francisco enjoy. In the same vein, it hasn’t quite got the gay history that a lot of other cities enjoy. Las Vegas’ gay pride parade, for instance, is only around two decades old. That being said there are still some amazing places to enjoy when you visit. And if you’re gay and like to party, Las Vegas should definitely be on your hit list. If you’re heading here soon, here are all of the gay bars and clubs in Las Vegas that you need to visit. Trust us!
As a straight man, I needed a lot of help in creating this. Thanks to my local peeps Andrea, Peter, Michael, and Jorge for the helping hand!
The Las Vegas Gay Scene
Bastille on 3rd
Remodeled in 2015 and formerly known as Snick’s Place, Bastille on 3rd is known as the oldest gay bar in town. It’s also the only gay bar in the Arts District. Thanks to the refurb, Bastille now has a cosy pub ambiance. Like all of the places on this list, there are loads of drink deals to keep the alcohol flowing cheaply. A staggering 13 hour happy hour is available from 11am to 7pm, and a daily special between 8pm and 2am means you’re practically guaranteed to have a good time at Bastille.
