Hidden away in the streets of Stillwater, Nacho Mama’s is a great Mexican food restaurant. As you walk inside the place, you’ll find that the quirky decor, beautiful artwork, and floating lanterns create a lively environment.

In this guide, we’ll review the decor, the food, and the customer service. Let’s get into it!

Offering bold and exciting flavors, Nacho Mamma’s features old and modern Mexican dishes with a Caribbean twist. It has more than 1,400 Google reviews and an average rating of 4.5 out of five.

With all the hype surrounding this Stillwater restaurant, there was no way I would miss out on it!

About Nacho Mammas

The Decor and Ambiance at Nacho Mama Are Sublime!

The brick-laden walls, wooden rustic tables, and a piece of Mexico everywhere you look make Nacho Mama’s a fantastic spot for your next Instagram post.

It has an outdoor seating area where diners can sit and enjoy their meals while listening to the water in the fountain race down in a series of cascades.

What’s even greater is that they serve really good Mexican food, which is what this Nacho Mama’s review will be about.

The Ultimate Food Guide for Nacho Mama’s

After getting a seat in this lively Mexican restaurant, I finally got the opportunity to look at its menu. At Nacho Mama’s, the variety of food is limited, which is a great sign as you know you’ll be getting absolutely delicious meals.

Ultimate Food Guide for Nacho Mama's

The friendly staff suggested some of their best sellers, which included the fish tacos, Buffalo chicken burrito, chicken Chesapeake, and quesadillas.

I decided to stick with the staff’s recommendations and added Nacho Mama’s Nachos to start off the early dinner.

It didn’t take long before the meals arrived. After taking the first bite of the quesadillas, I was instantly hooked. The sautéed onions were caramelized to perfection and complemented the gooey cheese and chipotle steak. It was a match made in heaven.

All the meals came in big portions, enough to share between two people. I quickly munched down on the rest of the dishes and had some room for dessert, so I ordered a warm chili chocolate cake served with blueberry sauce. That definitely hit the spot!

Don’t Forget to Check Out Their Happy Hour Menu

I went to Nacho Mama’s with a couple of friends for an early dinner at around 6 PM on a Thursday. Lucky for us, the restaurant has a happy hour menu between 3 PM and 7 PM (Monday to Friday), which offers discounted prices on draft beer, wines, and cocktails.

The portions are absolutely MASSIVE.

The staff mentioned that they served the meanest hubcap margaritas, so we had to order one. It arrived in a metal bowl dish with a couple of straws sticking out of it. Made from tequila, triple sec, and a house-made lime mix, the drink was refreshing and a delight to the senses.

Three Words for Nacho Mama’s: Good Food, Great Service, and Reasonable Prices

Unlike many Nacho Mama’s reviews that are long, I’m going to end this one on a quick note. The restaurant offered great food and fantastic service at affordable prices.

If you’re looking to eat Tex-Mex or other scrumptious Mexican dishes, head over to Nacho Mama’s in Stillwater. They even have a kids’ menu, which makes it the perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal with your family.

Until then, stay tuned for more reviews of your local favorite restaurants!
