A view of the Townshend Reservoir and the Green Mountains from the Townshend Dam in Townshend, VT. The Townshend Dam and Townshend State Park are located in one of the most spectacular parts of Southern Vermont. The town itself is located on scenic Route 30 between Brattleboro and Manchester, and is a popular spot with photographers mainly because of its picture-perfect village green.
