My Review
I was seeking that typical Costa Rican food menu – and I got it. Jalapas delivered with the Costa Rican classics I learned about while studying abroad there in 2000. Patacones, ceviche, all the good stuff I came to love, plus a few interesting takes on some popular dishes like the Garlic Mussels or Salmon Tartar make this place a winner.
As a bonus, the views are really cool – and different from the ones from our hotel and other areas of La Fortuna, which makes this a scenic lunch or dinner that you won’t soon forget.
While this is just one little area of Costa Rica with not a crazy amount of competition, this venue makes my list of the best restaurants in La Fortuna.
