With over 140 reviews as of July, 2025, reviewers on Yelp praise Olives Pizzeria’s food and the amazing staff. After our visit, I definitely agree. We went with a group, the pizza was prepared quickly, and the staff really catered to us.
Reviewers on TripAdvisor rate Olives Pizzeria with a 4.4/5 star rating. Most of the reviews were very positive, though there were a couple of complaints. For instance, one reviewer said the service was terrible and that the toppings were skimpy. Another reviewer said they had to wait for over an hour for a single pizza. Another reviewer said that the dough wasn’t cooked, and the only way they could eat it was to recook it at home. I’ve had pizza all over the state, however, and I thought this was amazing.

When it comes to the menu at Olive Pizzeria, you can order pizza….or pizza. There are a few salads, and an appetizer known as “Italian Fries,” but the rest of the menu is all about the pizza. There are two sizes of pizza available; the 15-inch square and a 12- inch square. You can also get gluten-free and cauliflower crust, which are both 10-inch round pies.
We had a pizza called the Hot Toddy which was a Yum Yum sauce base, fontina cheese, pepperoni, arugula and a hot honey drizzle. Though it was delicious, I was tempted to do a “make your own” pizza, too. Some of the toppings including bacon, salmon, gorgonzola, mozzarella, pear, shaved parmesan, and so much more.
Oh, and the restaurant also had a great beer and wine selection.

The dress code at Olives Excelsior is casual. We saw everything from people wearing jeans and a hoodie to those in sun dresses and khakis. It’s a relaxed environment perfect for friends, families, or solo diners.
