There were a few negative reviews, with the most common complaint being the time it takes to get dishes out. We didn’t have this problem and we were there on a rather busy Thursday evening. However, it’s worth pointing out that I saw several comments referencing long wait times and talking about “when the food finally arrived.” Again, we didn’t have this isue.
Catch & Cut — Menu
Executive Chef Andre Bienvenu, formerly of Joe’s Stone Crab in Miami Beach, has created an amazing menu that allows for dining on the finest local steaks and amazingly fresh seafood. Some of the standout dishes include Surf and Turf meatballs, Spicy Tuna and Crispy Rice, Premium Stone Crabs, and Crispy Wrapped Shrimp. If you are looking for a light, yet flavorful dish, consider the Crab and Avocado Salad.
Michelle chose the Sea Bass, which is paired with perfectly cooked steamed shrimp, and we added two hearty side dishes; Lobster Mac and Cheese and Au Gratin Potatoes. I opted for King Crab legs (pictured below) since it was our anniversary and we were splurging a bit! Oh, and you know I had to get a martini!

The exceptional cuisine doesn’t stop there, though.
Enjoying fresh seafood is elevated to new heights when you consider the fresh sushi menu, created by sushi chef Inyoman Atmaja. We sampled the yellow tail and it was very fresh and perfectly seasoned. If you are into fine wine, don’t forget the extensive wine list thanks to sommelier Natina Rocchio. There is also an extensive cocktail menu featuring inventive drinks like the Vesper pictured above.
The fun and interactive take on the cuisine is a great addition to the Las Olas dining scene and the way the restaurant goes about combining innovative dishes is making it a culinary destination that is certainly delivering incredible flavor.
